Downgraded from 2.0 to 1.1.4 but no network?

If you have downloaded your iphone from firmware 2.0 back down to 1.1.4 and unlocked, jailbroken and thought everything went smoothly…but then you notice everything is not ok, and you are holding in your hand an iPod Touch!
The problem will most likely be when you upgrade your baseband will be updated too. You will need to whipe you baseband by using a patched version of ZiPhone, restore via itunes using 1.1.4 and then unlock / jailbreak etc again.
