- From the Apple menu, select
System Preferences... .
- In System Preferences, from the
View menu, select Accounts.
- On the bottom left side of the window, click
Login Options.
- On the right side of the window, check the box next to
Enable fast user switching.
- On the sheet that drops down, click
OK to save the change.
- The name of the account you are currently logged into should appear on the right side of the menu bar, in the upper right corner of your screen. To log into a different account, click the current account’s name, and from the pull-down menu that appears, select the account you wish to log into.
- When prompted, provide the password for the account. It may take a moment for the login process to complete, at which point the screen will rotate, and the other account will become dominant.
- To access the first account, or to log into a different account, repeat steps 6 and 7, selecting the appropriate account.
