Well i guess i have finally decided to to this “about me” page. I guess i dont really know what to say about myself to be honest, I’m just a normal guy getting on with his life and taking it as it comes. At present i aint one of these people who goes out and gets “the best” i wait for the “best” to come to me. I went to Darton High School and did my GCSE’s (to be honest i didnt do very well) after i left i didnt want to go to college as i had basically had enough of school and wanted to be out earning money. Instead i took a different approach, i start at Barnsley Hospital on a modern apprenticeship at first it was going to be doing “admin” but during my interview all i seemed to talk about was computers, so they decided i should be the first to do one in IT. (At this point i didnt know i enjoyed it so much and i didnt have any idea about it!

After that i finally got a job, and started doing real IT work, then 6 years down the line, i decided to leave. MY REASONS: a) Better money
b) more experience
c) bored
d) wanted a clean start

Now i am working in Huddersfield working for Liverpool Victoria doing there IT support up north. Basically Huddersfield is where i am based and supporting sites in Manchester, Wakefield etc I am really enjoying it at the moment and finding it challenging but also learnt alot more about IT than i have. I cant believe how different it is working in the Private Industry rather than the Public. I always told myself i would never work for the NHS again.

I am 21, Desktop Support Engineer, Married to my gorgeous wife Erica, Just bought a brand new 4 bedroom house in Barnsley, Loving my life, Loving my job, Loving my wife, Basically life has never been as good for me EVER.

Just goes to show that even if you leave school with not so decent grades (because i was thick at school, and still am lol) you can still do well for yourself, and i dont think i have done bad to say i am only 21.

I guess i am what you would call a young professional. Also currently have taken up a liking for website design and who knows where that may lead to, only using wordpress and other applications at the moment, but i am working on another site too, which is all PHP based.
